MetroFarmers Programme | 都會農夫計畫

🌱 Step into the city...and into your own urban farm, where you can learn all about growing your own food, setting up your garden, and learning together with likeminded gardeners.

This coming September, Metroplaza and Farm the City welcome you to join us as Metro-Farmers and grow your own food on the rooftop of Metroplaza Shopping Mall. Over a period of 3 months, led by our experienced farming expert, grow a variety of seasonal organic vegetables, fruits and herbs in your dedicated planter bed to harvest and take home.

Dates ((4 sessions on Saturday):

• Sat 19th September 2026

• Sat 10th October 2026

• Sat 14th November 2026

• Sat 12th December 2026

Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: Metroplaza Roof Garden (5/F), nearest MTR station - Kwai Fong Station

Language: Cantonese / English

Fees: HK$450 per session, total HK$1,800 for 4 sessions

Inclusive of:

1. Dedicated planter area for growing your own crops

2. 1 hour urban farming workshop by our expert instructor during each session

3. Seeds, Fertiliser and Supplies

4. Routine watering and care during the 3 months

5. All harvests and crops

6. WhatsApp Support Group

7. A Completion Certificate as a MetroFarmer

Each participant will also receive a complimentary copy of "The Edible Roof", an all-in-one gardening guide to starting your own garden.

Suitable for all ages and levels of experience. Participants under 12 years old are required to have an adult to accompany them.

今個九月，新都會廣場 Metroplaza 聯同 Farm the City 誠邀你加入我們，成為「都會農夫」。你將於新都會廣場購物中心天台親手栽種屬於你的食物，親身感受都市農耕的魅力。

在為期三個月的課程中，我們經驗豐富的導師將全程帶領你在專屬種植箱培育多款時令有機蔬菜、生果及香草。課程不僅讓你學會種植技巧，更會於收成後讓你把成果帶回家，與家人分享自家種植的滋味.

適合所有年齡及經驗程度人士參加   12歲以下參加者必須由成人陪同。

Kindly note:

1. Location is at Metroplaza.

2. Please dress comfortably for the weather with sun protection (e.g. hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, raincoat) and non-slip shoes.

3. In the case of light rain, we will still proceed, please bring along a poncho/raincoat if needed.

4. Bring along a water bottle to stay hydrated.

5. Bring along a reusable bag so you can also store the harvest / organic veggie purchase from our farm.

6. Adverse Weather: If there is adverse weather (Red Rainstorm Signal and above, Typhoon Signal 3 and above) 2 hours prior to the workshop, the workshop will be rescheduled, and the new date will be advised to you asap. Please follow our instagram page @farm.thecity for the latest updates.

8. Cancellation Policy: We understand if plans change, and as we also prepare materials ahead of the workshop, please see the below for the cancellation policy:

   • Cancellation 8 days or more before event day: Full refund

   • Cancellation 2-7 days before event day: 50% refund

   • Cancellation 48 hours before event: non-refundable

   • If the event is rescheduled / cancelled by Farm the City due to weather or other circumstances, participants can opt for a refund or to join another workshop of equal value offered by Farm the City.

3. 天氣安排：如遇小雨，活動仍會照常進行，請自備雨衣或披風。

4. 保持水分：請攜帶水樽以保持水分。

5. 環保袋：請攜帶可重用袋，以便存放收成或購買的有機蔬菜。

6. 惡劣天氣安排：如活動前兩小時懸掛紅色暴雨警告或以上、三號或以上颱風信號，工作坊將會延期，並盡快通知新日期。請留意我們的 Instagram @farm.thecity 以獲取最新消息。

7. 社交媒體互動：歡迎於 Instagram 標註我們，我們亦樂意轉發你的分享 @farm.thecity。

8. 取消：

   • 活動前 8 日或以上取消：全額退款

   • 活動前 2–7 日取消：退回 50%

   • 活動前 48 小時內取消：不設退款

   • 如因天氣或其他原因由 Farm the City 取消或改期，參加者可選擇退款或參加同等價值的其他工作坊。
