Step away from the city and immerse yourself in one of Hong Kong’s newest island destinations - join us for Together We Grow: Family Day Out at Farm the City’s Future Food Lab, located at Ma Wan 1868, a vibrant leisure, arts, culture, and recreation park.
The Future Food Lab is a living showcase of sustainable, organic, and regenerative farming practices led by our dedicated farmers. In celebration of World Water Day, we invite you to explore the vital connection between nature, water resources, and sustainable farming through a series of engaging green workshops running throughout the day:

Airplant (Tillandsia) Growing Workshop
Interactive Guided Farm Tour
And that’s not all — participants will have the chance to take home seasonal harvests, sharing the fresh taste of nature with friends and family, and to explore various green lifestyle products on showcase.

How to get to Future Food Lab
Future Food Lab is located inside Ma Wan 1868. To plan your journey, please refer to the official access guide for Ma Wan 1868 here.
Bad Weather Arrangement
To ensure the safety of all participants and staff, if a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning, or a Typhoon No. 3 or higher, is in force within 3 hours of the event start time, the event will be postponed to 4th April (Sat). Participants will receive updates through email, WhatsApp and social media.

Choose one of our three workshops! 1. Tillandsia Workshop (45 mins) Design your own unique green companion - Tillandsia. Sessions: 2PM/4PM 2. Kitchen Herbs Workshop (45 mins) Explore the functions of herbs and bring home a living herb partner. Sessions: 11:30AM/12:30PM/3PM 3. Take A Little Green Break (20 mins) Blend aromatic herbs to create a sachet and enjoy a relaxing green break. Sessions: Anytime Once confirmed, please pick your option in the confirmation email.
